Location

This superb retreat lies on the seashore of one of the islands best resorts, surrounded by lush gardens, just two km from the center of Protaras, three km from the town of Paralimni, and only a short stroll away from the restaurants, bars and shopping center of the Pernera area.

Overview

This superb resort hotel has taken its name from the beautiful area known as "Pernera" on the outskirts of Protaras. The hotel is located in an idyllic beach front setting, with a picturesque sandy cove, embraced by the clear turquoise waters of the Mediterranean sea.

Only 45 minutes drive from Larnaca International airport and 2.5 km away from the centre of Protaras it offers seclusion and exclusivity. The Pernera began operating as a seaside Taverna in 1967, becoming famous for its fresh seafood and cozy surroundings. Locals came from all over Cyprus to dine here and foreign travellers made it a point to return time and time again.

In 1976 plans for the Pernera Beach Hotel got under way and it began operating two years later. With the Taverna still intact overlooking the bay, it became the first hotel in the Paralimni / Protaras area. So when it comes to experience and tradition, no one in this area can compare to Pernera.

Space and comfort are the main features in all public areas but the most outstanding attribute of the hotel is the people who run it. The warm welcome is genuine and the same standard of friendly and efficient service is guaranteed throughout your stay.

Guests need never leave the hotel complex as they will find everything they need right here, including a supermarket, a souvenir shop, news stand and a hairdressing / beauty salon for that special occasion. The beauty salon offers a comprehensive range of treatments including massage, facials, manicure, pedicure to name but a few
