OverviewThis superb resort hotel has taken its name from the beautiful area known as "Pernera" on the outskirts of Protaras. The hotel is located in an idyllic beach front setting, with a picturesque sandy cove, embraced by the clear turquoise waters of the Mediterranean sea. Only 45 minutes drive from Larnaca International airport and 2.5 km away from the centre of Protaras it offers seclusion and exclusivity. The Pernera began operating as a seaside Taverna in 1967, becoming famous for its fresh seafood and cozy surroundings. Locals came from all over Cyprus to dine here and foreign travellers made it a point to return time and time again. In 1976 plans for the Pernera Beach Hotel got under way and it began operating two years later. With the Taverna still intact overlooking the bay, it became the first hotel in the Paralimni / Protaras area. So when it comes to experience and tradition, no one in this area can compare to Pernera.
